          The Story

I had been interested in getting a 2nd gen RX-7 (FC) for about a year, then my dad got rid of one of

his cars so a place in the barn opened up so I started seriously looking for a good deal on an FC.

First one i looked at was on the other side of Ohio i took a Friday off work and drove up there with my

dad, it just wasn't what i was looking for. It seemed pretty mechanically strong but the clutch made a

strange noise, the body had some issues and the interior was pretty trashed, The guy was a nice guy

but I had to pass on it. Then a couple weeks later I found one for sale on at rx-7club.com with 68k

miles on her, only problem was it was in Iowa about 500 miles away.  I asked a friend if he'd

want to go to Iowa over the  weekend  he said sure why not (thanks, Ben) so  we drove  to Iowa to

take a look at her. I after having a couple things taken care of, loose oil cooler line and two new tires, I

drove her the 500 miles home. (Thanks, Brian)

Right now she's sitting in the garage in Dayton for the winter, weather permitting I'll bring her up

to school in a few weeks. I already have a list up of what I plan on doing in to her in the  near future

I'll also work on updating this page more with what I've had already done to her.
